I was really nervous at first, I mean who isn't when they go to the obgyn, but doctor diamond was amazing. She was personable, sweet, gentle, and very informative. I highly recommend to all the ladies!

Very good. The doctor was sympathetic to my concerns. She was professional and concise. I felt like I was in good hands she answered all of my questions with great detail. I did not feel rushed or "cycled through" in order to get to the next patient.

Sharon Diamond is a compassionate and thorough gynecologist dedicated to providing accessible care for patients in New York, NY. She earned her medical degree from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and also completed her residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. She is certified by and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
In addition to her gynecology degree, Dr. Diamond also graduated with a social work degree. She practiced for three years. She feels this gives her special understanding of the way women’s health affects their lives, and she uses this knowledge to provide detailed and individualized care for her patients. Dr. Diamond does not deliver babies or attend to obstetric emergencies, so she is able to provide more responsive care to all patients. She offers consultations for all ages for routine exams, birth control, menopause counseling, vaginal infections, osteoporosis, genetic screening and counseling, cancer screening, hair loss, endometriosis, warts, acne, diagnosis of abnormal Pap smears, blood work, vaccinations, STD treatments, painful menstruation and evaluation of sexual dysfunction.
Dr. Diamond was born and raised in New York. She is married with three children, two of which are now in medical school.
***We do not participate in any insurance plans but our office will provide you with a detailed, itemized bill which you can submit to your insurance provider. Our office manager has years of experience in billing and coding and works to maximize your reimbursement. We will work with your insurance provider to obtain authorization (or pre-certification) for any tests or medications that are deemed necessary. Tests performed in our office will be sent to laboratories covered by your insurance plan.***

Dr. Diamond is extremely professional & caring. Her staff is great, follow up on appointments. She also has an excellent resource of referral specialists. I always feel my care & health are in good hands as she is very thorough, and BONUS - she's almost always on time!
