Dr. Sharona Yashar graduated from the UCLA School of Medicine, and completed both a dermatology residency program and dermatopathology fellowship at UCLA. In addition to being a Board Certified Dermatologist, she holds a sub-specialty Board Certification in Dermatopathology, the practice of diagnosing skin biopsies under the microscope.

I had very low expectations from previous visits to Dermatologists. Dr. Yashar was a breath of fresh air. I have a lot of skin issue. Dr. Yashar was patient and offered some options. Highly recommend.

Dr. Sharona is so calm and friendly. She explained everything so clearly, including coverage and how insurance works that it made the overwhelming process of navigating complex healthcare system here a tad relaxing.
She was open and attentive to our queries and wasn't pushing any expensive procedures. Glad to have found no nonsense dermatologist.
