I developed dry patches on my skin out of nowhere (similar to eczema) and the previous doctor I went to, handed me trial-size Cetaphil and sent me home. Dr. Shelbi Jim On answered all my questions, and prescribed an ointment that finally helped me with the itching and redness. She was extremely helpful and my skin went back to normal thanks to her. I would highly recommend.

Dr. Shelbi Jim On is a board certified dermatologist practicing at Adult and Pediatric Dermatology in Forest Hills, NY. Dr. Jim On earned her bachelor’s degree from Claremont McKenna College. She then attended the John A. Burns School of Medicine, a part of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where she obtained her medical degree. Further, Dr. Jim On completed an internship in internal medicine from the University of California, San Francisco. She advanced her training by completing a dermatology residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where she was selected to be chief resident in her final year of training. She completed an additional fellowship in dermatopharmacology at Mount Sinai as well.
Dr. Jim On is a member of several renowned medical societies, including the American Academy of Dermatology, Chinese American Medical Society, New York Academy of Medicine, New York State Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, and the Women's Dermatologic Society. She was a recipient of the Resident of Distinction Award in 2015 and 2016. Waited for more then hour in waiting area and consultation was quick only 10 min, and on top of it she recommended a surgeon that did not take my insurance and I specifically asked her if this doctor was in my network. I waited 2 weeks for this doctor to come to this Forest Hills location. I paid for two consultation and still no surgery date. I was really disappointed, waist of my time and my money. I DO NOT recommend her and do not recommend this office!

She was personable and was able to tell me right away what caused the itchy/burning blisters on both of my feet. She prescribed two topical ointments and one oral medication. I left the clinic knowing i would be free from this skin irritation very soon!! I had a pleasant experience with this doctor.
