Dr pankaj is wonderful but the wait is ridiculous. They shouldn't over schedule, my daughters appt was for 215 we didn't leave the office til a quarter to 5 . Children get very restless they should consider that .

Dr . Shilpa Pankaj is a Board Certified Pediatrician and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She speaks both English and Spanish. She is a native Houstonian who attended college at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia with a double major in Neuroscience and South Asian Studies. She was excited to return home for medical school at University of Texas Medical School at Houston, and became interested in Pediatrics early on. She pursued her Pediatric residency at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston as well, based out of Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center. When she completed her residency in 2009, she joined her mother, Dr. Heena Thakkar, in practice and was thrilled to follow in her mother’s footsteps. Since then, the practice has continued to grow. The office was renovated and expanded to 3,500 square feet in 2010 to more comfortably accommodate their patients. Dr. Pankaj has a particular interest in asthma and preventative healthcare in children.
Dr. Pankaj provides complete pediatric preventative and sick care for children from birth to age 21. She values that her physician-patient relationship starts from the very first hours after birth well through the teen years and sometimes longer! She takes that responsibility and relationship seriously, and she would feel honored and privileged to participate in the care of your child.

Doctor was amazing but the visit I give it a 5. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment just incase there was anything they needed. I filled out all the paperwork on line yesterday but yet I still had to fill it out all over again today. I specifically put on this site yesterday that I needed 4 month shots for my baby and her DOB is 1.24.14. I wish someone would have actually reviewed the paperwork before I went into the office since the informed me that my daughter could not get her shots for another week.

This was our first visit. We waited about 45 min. for our appointment. Once we saw Dr. Pankaj, she was completely focused on understanding my daughter's health concerns. She really took her time with the examination. She was kind, patient and her smile made my daughter feel comfortable!
