I am lucky to have gone to Dr. Rastogi. I had big cataracts and was very nearsighted. Dr. Rastogi operated on both of my eyes to remove the cataracts and implant new lenses. Now I can see perfectly without glasses; I have 20/20 vision. The results were instantaneous and I had no side effects. It is obvious he cares about his patients. Thank you Dr. Rastogi

Dr. Rastogi is board certified in ophthalmology and has special interest in the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma and complicated intraocular surgery.
He graduated summa cum laude and Phil Beta Kappa from Wayne State University and was awarded his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. His transitional internship was completed at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan, and his residency in ophthalmology was through the Kresge Eye Institute, which is affiliated with Wayne State University. A fellowship in glaucoma was completed at University Eye Specialists in Chicago, Illinois under the mentorship of Dr. Ted Krupin.
Dr. Rastogi has been practicing in Brooklyn for almost eight years. Prior to joining
Mount Sinai Doctors – Brooklyn Heights Medical Group, he was co-director of the glaucoma service in the Department of Ophthalmology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He is an associate physician of Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

I received a great comprehensive examination regarding the health of my eyes. Dr. Rastogi has a wonderful "bedside" manner, and he talks to you, not at you, as he makes visual contact with you. I hope this is the beginning of a long-term, doctor-patient relationship. On the basis of this first visit, I would unhesitatingly recommend Dr. Rastogito others.

Dr. Rastogi is everything that you imagine a doctor should be. He is warm and caring, and took the initiative (and the time) to explain to me the current condition of my eyes and what I needed to be on the look out for in the future. And he has a super efficient and friendly staff.

Extremely professional. The facility is very clean and up to date. The receptionist was extremely helpful with insurance questions and checking in. Dr. Rastogi was very helpful. I did not feel rushed and felt like he took his time to properly examine me. I will definitely go back to see him again.
