Wonderful bedside manner, so attentive and warm. Probably the longest and most thoughtful intake I've experienced w/ a provider. Just be aware they don't do the bloodwork on site so it's a minor inconvenience to have to make a separate appointment to do so.

I am a trained internist with a passion for all things health related! I completed my training at Duke University Medical Center and have been practicing as an internist for the last 10 years in the hospital setting, outpatient primary care and telehealth. Starting in February of 2023 our practice will also offer Botox and other cosmetics services so reach out if you would like to know more. I look forward to getting to know you and partnering with you so that together, we can be sure to achieve all of your health related and wellness goals. Sima is informative and takes her time to explain what she knows. She’s the first doctor that sat down with me and reviewed lab results in such high detail. However, she can be dismissive and uninformative when it comes to issues that are not routine for her. She takes the time to get to know you and your lifestyle but doesn’t take accurate notes, so each appointment includes a lot of repeating what has already been said.

Dr. Pendharkar is very easy to talk to and highly knowledgeable. She quickly put together an action plan for me. When a specialist couldn’t see me for over a month, she called on my behalf to arrange an appointment the next day. She then followed up with me in the evening to make sure I was feeling well. Fantastic and thoughtful care, highly recommend!

I was lucky to find Dr Sima Pendharkar and have a tele-doctor session with her when I happened to get badly sick on vacation, while thousands miles away from home. Dr Pendharkar was able to accommodate my telecall in a middle of weekend; and after only a few very pointed questions about my symptoms, she was able to quickly come up with an accurate diagnosis and right treatment plan that I could ‘t get from a local doctor. Had I not treated my infection with the right antibiotics within those few hours, I would’ve never made back home. Dr Pendhakar literally SAVED MY LIFE! Moreover, she’s been in constant contact with me over texts checking on my well-being and progress of my recovery during and after the session without asking for it. I’ve never had doctors who genially cared about their patients so much! I am deeply grateful having to get to know such competent and caring doctor!
