Dr. Sourial was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, where he studied medicine. His knowledge and understanding of medicine were re-enforced when travelling overseas to different countries. He decided to continue his studies in the US. Dr. Sourial is a graduate of the NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine, Westbury, NY and has practiced Family Medicine at Far Rockaway, NY, at MCCI Medical group, and Dedicated Senior Care in Jacksonville, Florida. He then decided to continue a fellowship in Pain Medicine at Larkin Community Hospital, South Miami, Florida, where he practiced interventional pain medicine as well as addiction treatment both in Houston Texas and Jacksonville, Fl. He has several researches in HIV brain infections, adenomyosis, low back pain in metastatic disease, as well as electromagnetic field effects in chronic pain.
Dr. Sourial believes in treating the “person” not the disease, and his approach is to treat the “cause” and not the symptom. For this end, he has a holistic approach in treating his patients, including but not limited to resorting to rehabilitation and interventional chronic pain management. Dr. Sourial had excellent rapport with his patients in his previous practice and is looking forward to establish relationship with new patients and will do his best to improve both functioning and quality of life for all his patients.
