Dr. Chimento is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Miami. Dr Chimento graduated top of her class from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and she was a member of the Alpha Omega Honor Society. Dr Chimento interned in Internal Medicine at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL, and completed her dermatology residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, as Chief Resident.
Dr Chimento was the recipient of The Jaime Battan Most Compassionate Patient Care Award and The Outstanding Resident Research Award in 2012. Dr. Chimento completed numerous research studies with the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery and was published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Contact Dermatitis Society, and the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology. Society memberships include the American Society of Mohs Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Laser Medicine, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the Women’s Dermatologic Society.
Dr Chimento is highly trained in general medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology with an interest and expertise in acne, acne laser resurfacing, rosacea, and hair disorders. Although she was a complete, upbeat sweet heart, I almost felt rushed. She really had no answers to most of my questions, she guessed what things could be and gave me prescriptions based on her guess. She was in the room with me for a max of 10 minutes just zooming through all my concerns. Finally, I just stopped inquiring as I felt she really wasn't taking her time. I think that's a big contribution to the wait time being so great.

I saw Dr. Stacy Chimento a few times now for Botox, Restylane, and Hair Laser Removal. I can not tell you enough how wonderful my experience has been with her and her office. I never have to wait and am treated like a VIP at every visit. The staff is cordial, tentative and very professional. Dr. Chimento always takes her time with me, explains every detail and personally calls me after each procedure (not too many doctors do that anymore). She has a light touch and does beautiful work. I had no pain with the injections or even hair laser! I have received so many compliments on my face, particularly my cheeks, as she does very natural work. Unlike most other dermatology offices, the office does not push expensive products on you. Even more importantly, Dr. Chimento always makes sure that I am up to date with my skin cancer screenings since I am active and outdoors a lot. I highly recommend Dr. Chimento!

Having sensitive skin means I have to be careful with which skin care products I choose. I had been using a sunscreen from CVS when I went on my mid-day runs. I had problems with itchiness and redness after my runs, and needed a consultation. I found Dr. Chimento on ZocDoc and recommended I try Dr. Walder's chemical free sunscreen. I've been using it for two days now and already see a significant improvement. An overall great experience.

Experience with Dr. Chimento was wonderful, by far the best physician experience ever. The reception staff was warm and welcoming and I was seen quickly. Dr Chimento was wonderful, very knowledgeable, with great suggestions on cosmetic procedures and a very gentle touch when it came to treatment. Dr Chimento was an also very engaging and enjoyable to chat to and was genuinely engaged in our conversation. A truly great experience.

Dr Chimento was great, she took her time he time to explain the procedure to me , including possible side effects, I decided to proceed and she injected my forehead with Botox, i didn't even feel it she had such a gentle touch. I will definitely be back to see her again, next time for a full skin exam.
