Dr. Osborn grew up in Seattle, Washington. He was very active in competitive swimming and track; he also became heavily involved in skiing and bicycling. He attended both Seattle University and the University of Washington. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree with dual emphasis in Physics and Psychology. During his high school and college years, Dr. Osborn worked for a Boy Scouts Aquatic program, a landscape construction business, and later for a large fishing and cannery business, based out of Kodiak Island, Alaska and Seattle Washington. He played piano seriously for some 12 years. He participated in track, cross-country running, soccer, baseball, swimming and skiing.
Dr. Osborn attended Creighton University School of Medicine. Upon graduation, he completed a Basic Surgery Residency program at the University of Chicago. He then completed his Orthopaedic Residency at Loyola University School of Medicine in the Chicago area. Dr. Osborn immediately following the above, worked as the solo medical doctor in a busy rural, regional hospital in Illinois, while waiting to start his fellowship training. He next completed a Total Joint Fellowship at Presbyterian Hospital medical center in Dallas, Texas, and then a Sports Medicine Fellowship, in Long Beach California.

Dr Osborne is a very experienced doctor and makes sure he understands the issue before diagnosis. The wait time is usually longer, I at least waited for 20 min during all of my appointments and once I was told he was running late. Other than that, he is very patient, listens to you and guides you well be it PT OR MRI/XRay

Dr. Osborn was extremely unprofessional during the entire visit. He judged my choices and my actions, and worst of all, made me feel extremely uncomfortable! He made me take off my shirt without a nurse present and made me do push ups against the bench while he watched from behind. Then, when he told me to sit down, he stared at my breasts while he was telling me the only thing I needed to do was walk. I will NEVER see this man again and I suggest that any woman rethink before she makes an appointment.

Dr. Osborn is one of a kind. After treating my knee from a disastrous situation where I could barely walk, he is now treating my son with his orthopedic issue. Specifically I admire his tendency to not jump to the most extreme solution such as surgery or medications as so many other physicians tend to do, but he rather learn the issue and recommend much lesser invasive approach which in many cases is as successful.

On March 22 2016 I made an appointment with Dr. Osborn. I clearly indicated my symptoms and that I simiply want to have the medical treatment which I had previously received overseas. In preparation for the appointment with Dr. Osborne, I provided a copy of my medical reports (MRI,X-Rays, and Doctor’s reports) regarding a sports injury. Further I provided the treatment plan which I had received previously and that had worked well for me, namely the medical injections into the pubic bone area.
Dr. Osborn charged me a significant amount, and provided me an inadequate payment receipt. I called & emailed the clinic back numerous times to attempt to receive an invoice which includes the proper billing codes so I may submit a claim with my insurance. However to date, Dr. Osborn’s office refused to provide me such a bill.
I presented all this information to Dr. Osborne (who intentionally avoided telling me he didn’t provide such service), then he attempted to re-diagnose my condition, and referred me to a general surgeon to examine if I had a hernia (which we knew was not the cause of the pain), this Dr. confirmed that my previously received treatment was the correct way forward and that a hernia is indeed not a cause for my pain exactly like my historic medical reports had indicated.
I called back Dr. Osborn’s office, who wanted me to come in for another consultation appointment, but this time I refused to do so, and simply said, I want to book a medical injection appointment. Dr. Osborn’s office finally revealed this is outside the scope of this services, and tried to refer me to yet another doctor. I called the other doctor and unlike Dr. Osborn, this new doctor's office told me right away the treatment I seek is outside their scope and they were un-able to accept me.
I called Dr. Osborn back to be referred to another practitioner who can actually perform the treatment I’ve been seeking since day one. However Dr. Osborn’s office simply refused to provide any referrals.
In conclusion:
-Dr. Osborn failed to provide me the treatment I very clearly requested at the outset, further,
-Dr. Osborn failed to refer me to any other doctor who is able to provide the requested treatment.
-Dr. Osborn failed to provide me with an adequate bill/invoice that would contain the proper billing codes, etc such I could submit to my insurance company
-Dr. Osborn’s staff hung-up the phone on me when I called to request a bill or request a referral.

Dr Osborn is a first class practitioner to take care of you and his office is very expertly run. Dr Osborn takes extreme effort to ensure you know what is happening with your injury, what you might expect and how to take best care for your procedure and rehabilitation - you always know where you are and why which is super reassuring. Everything is very individually focused - he is taking care of You and he really talks on a level that motivates and reassures you. I have been through an elbow reconstruction and he has really eased the load and helped me feel better about my progress and long term prognosis every visit - and we even had some laughs along the way. No hesitation whatsoever in recommending him and his office for first class, personally oriented professional care - he is superb.

He is a highly competent surgeon - as such, brooks no wasted words or energy in talk that does not meet your reason for the visit.. HE WILL take the time to explain and reason out your diagnosis with you! ive seen other dra for my condition and expected to see more before I chose who best to perform my surgery. Less than five minutes and I knew he takes his work profoundly serious and is only concerned about best outcomes..he spent well over my allotted 20 minutes to be sure I understood my condition, went over every X-ray and MRI shot I'd brought. He knows his stuff! I'm waiting to get in for the knife..and he's brutally honest on what it really takes for a good outcome - meaning the patient's participation in following instruction.

I really enjoyed being a patient of Dr. Osborn. I had a significant knee injury that has healed quite well - not only because of Dr. Osborn's skill and care, but also because he did a great job of explaining how and why things will work. I learned a lot and am doing yoga 5 months after tearing several knee ligaments.

He's a surprisingly candid doctor who promptly diagnosed me, gave me a prescription, high-end ice pack (in office) and set up an appointment at an MRI office. Everything happened very quickly and with a lot of kindness.
