Susan Kline Hirsch is a board-certified Physician Associate with a lifelong passion for helping others and a career rooted in dermatology. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Rutgers University and completed her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Medicine and Dentistry Physician Assistant Program in 2003. Susan began her career as the first Dermatology PA in a West Village practice, helping to break into the field in Manhattan.
Susan has spent most of her career specializing in both medical and aesthetic dermatology in Lower Manhattan, working alongside renowned dermatologists. She has also helped build dermatology departments in various practices while expanding her expertise into areas like endocrinology, precision medicine, and weight loss medicine.
Her profound love for dermatology extends to treating all patient populations, including celebrities, athletes, businesspeople, artists, and individuals with special needs, as well as transgender patients. Susan's open heart and commitment to individualized care are at the core of her practice. She has been featured in NY Living Magazine, Shape magazine, and Daily Candy.
Susan is excited to have recently been asked to join the Belle.ai Precision Skin Study, a project with the World Health Organization, further solidifying her dedication to advancing dermatology.
A passionate mentor, Susan has helped in the development of residency programs for PAs new to dermatology and has returned to her alma mater to lecture PA students. With years of experience in injectables and lasers, Susan is dedicated to helping her patients feel confident and comfortable in their own skin, instilling hope, and offering comprehensive care. Her special interests include autism and rare genetic disorders.

Long wait, then she came in flustered, told me about her other patients. 3 weeks later and I still don’t know the results of my biopsy & she won’t be in for two more weeks. All I know is that “it’s something that needs to be treated” according to the woman who removed my stitches. Still waiting for someone to call me back with the results. Website doesn’t work so I can’t even see the results online so I can take them to another doctor.
