About Tinley Chen
Tinley Chen, MMSc, PA-C, is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology.
Tinley graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and earned her Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Yale University. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, she served as a dermatology clinical research coordinator at Mount Sinai and worked as a medical assistant in a medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology practice. During this time, she developed a passion for dermatology and published several journal articles. She has since served as an investigator on over a dozen clinical trials for conditions including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, vitiligo, acne, and rosacea. Tinley has extensive experience treating a wide spectrum of dermatologic conditions such as acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, warts, and alopecia. She is committed to practicing a patient-centered, evidence-based approach to improve the quality of life and health of her patients.
She is an active member of The American Academy of Physician Assistants, The Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and The New York State Society of Physician Assistants.

everyone there is very friendly and very well mannered , my doctor which is my first time seeing her was very nice and very straight to the point about what i came in for, we talked about what was going on and my concerns also her concerns and we found something that would work for me hopefully. i will definitely go back and see her specifically.

I love this place and will definitely be back because the provider was thorough, attentive and patient, even though it was late and they were behind.
Note to the practice — the exam room I was in had lights with a timer on them. The lights turned off without movement. When you're naked in a dressing gown waiting to be seen it's really humbling/demoralizing to have to wave your arms like a wacky inflatable tube man every 2-5 minutes. My other option was to in the dark like a total creep. Maybe extend the timer to like...20 minutes?

I booked a same day appointment and was seen during my scheduled window! I was pretty worried about some abnormalities I was experiencing, and Tinley did a great job calmly walking me through what was taking place and what over the counter medication to consider.
