Unprofessional and very hard to talk to. Does little to no actual consultation and refuses to hear anything once he has reached a "diagnosis". Came off as misogynistic. Would definitely not recommend to a female friend or family member. Never returns phone calls. Overcharged me until I had my insurance company call the office.

I went to be treated for ADHD, in which he saw me twice. On my third meeting the office was locked, and the office nor his other number he provided did not pick up. I continued to call them again, I have not heard back from them, Its been about 4 months.

He was really great! I was late to my appointment (very late) and he still made time to see me even though he really didn't have to. Not a lot of psychiatrists are like that! He truly does care for his patients!

The reviews of Dr. Alam were accurate. He is a true gentleman and an experienced professional. Dr. Alam allows patients to talk and actually listens. He was extremely respectful and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable with him right from the start. Dr. Alam personally came out into the waiting room to introduce himself before I was even seen. Overall, a great experience.

My current doctor was on vacation and I needed an emergency refill. I was literally in the office for 2 hours and I felt that he didn't listen to what I was saying the entire time i was there.

Excellent doctor. Human, kind, compassionate. Committed to quality care, including follow-up. Slowly ramps up dosages if prescriptions are required. Does not warehouse patients.

For a person who hates changing Dr's,I found him very warm and I felt very comfortable with him. He talked too me not at me and that's very important when seeing a psychiatrist,very happy with my visit.
