Before my appointment, I called the doctor's office to make sure that she will be able to prescribe thyroid medications. She assured me that she would be able to do that. She requested that I send in on my lab work, which I did. My lab work showed that I have an overactive thyroid. During the appointment, the doctor said that there's a 99.9% chance she will write me a prescription. She did not. Instead, I received a few emails stating that I needed to pay her for her to order some lab work for me. Never in my life have I paid a doctor in order to have lab work performed. Normally the doctor orders the lab work at the lab and I go into the lab and the lab bills me. My thyroid is still very high, I'm experiencing some negative health effects due to the fact that I could not get my medication prescribed. I am leaving a review so that other people do not receive the same experience that I did. Dr. Taji Dhami is a very nice person, but she did not help me with my health.
