“I truly felt listened to, and understood by Jennifer Ha. I felt that she asked INCREDIBLE questions, and helped me see deeper within myself. I also love that her first recommendation isn’t simply to prescribe medications, but to learn about what our emotions are telling us, and how we are perceiving ourselves. I’m excited to work with Jennifer Ha again!”

Getting to know Jennifer Ha

Hi, I’m Jennifer Ha, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over five years of experience treating children, adolescents, and adults across a wide range of mental health concerns. I offer both telehealth and in-person visits in a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free environment. My clinical expertise includes ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and insomnia, with a special interest in how lifestyle, culture, trauma, and neurobiology shape mental wellness. I combine evidence-based psychiatric care with a holistic understanding of each individual’s unique story. My goal is to help you gain clarity, feel empowered, and live the life you truly want. I believe in collaborative care—your voice matters. Whether you’re starting your mental health journey for the first time or looking for a provider who listens and truly sees you, I’m here to help. I am currently accepting new patients and offer flexible scheduling, including evening and weekend appointments. Specialties: Psychiatric Medication Management ADHD in Adults & Children Anxiety and Panic Disorders Depression & Mood Disorders Insomnia & Sleep Concerns Trauma-Informed Care

What should a new client know about working with you?

When you work with me, you can expect a collaborative, compassionate, and nonjudgmental approach. I take time to truly understand your goals, symptoms, and lived experience—not just your diagnosis. My style is direct yet supportive, and I believe in working with you, not just prescribing to you. During our first session, we’ll go over your history, concerns, and what you're hoping to get out of treatment. From there, we’ll create a personalized care plan that may include medication management, lifestyle support, and referrals to therapy if needed. I value transparency, education, and empowerment—I want you to understand your treatment options and feel confident in your care decisions. I also check in regularly to make sure things are working for you and adjust as needed. Mental health treatment is a journey, and I’m here to walk beside you every step of the way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, we’ll complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. This includes discussing your current symptoms, medical and mental health history, lifestyle factors, and treatment goals. I’ll ask about your sleep, energy, focus, mood, and anything else that may be impacting your quality of life. From there, we’ll develop a personalized treatment plan—this may include medication management, supportive lifestyle changes, and referrals to therapy if appropriate. I do not provide long-term talk therapy, but I do incorporate brief supportive and solution-focused strategies into our visits when helpful. Follow-up sessions are typically focused on monitoring your response to treatment, adjusting medications as needed, and providing education, tools, and support to help you feel your best. I always aim to make sessions feel comfortable, collaborative, and efficient—so you can leave feeling heard, supported, and clear about your next steps.

She definitely seems like she wants to help my daughter in a healthy way

I really wanted to feel understood and supported during my appointment, but unfortunately that wasn’t my experience. I felt like my concerns were minimized, and the conversation focused more on fitting me into a framework than actually listening to what I was going through. At times, the tone and responses felt subtly dismissive and made it hard for me to feel safe opening up. I left more confused and unseen than before.

One of the best providers I have had! I have seen about 9 different mental health care providers and this is definitely the first time I have felt culturally understood while also emotionally related to and empathized instead of just a boring clinical experience.
