About Dr. Teresa Lemma

Dr. Teresa Lemma was born in Brooklyn New York and now lives in New Jersey. She graduated from St Johns University Jamaica New York and completed her medical training at the Universidad Del Noreste in Tampico Mexico. She completed her pediatric residency at St Vincent’s Medical center now known as Richmond University Medical Center, a Mt. Sinai affiliate. Absolutely unacceptable experience. I scheduled an appointment through Zocdoc with Dr. Teresa Lemma, entered all my insurance info, and received confirmation—only to get a call minutes later from Jennifer, who was dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. She refused to see my child simply for being a “new patient,” which makes no sense for a practice listing appointments online. I explained our previous pediatrician retired and records aren’t accessible, but immunizations are available via CIR. She showed zero willingness to help and even suggested going to the ER. I requested a manager—no callback, no follow-up. This practice is unaccommodating and indifferent to patient care. If they don’t accept new patients, they shouldn’t advertise availability. I will be reporting this.
