OB/GYN is such a rewarding field. From bringing new life into the world, to dealing with everyday health issues, I feel privileged to be part of a profession that allows me to help women every day.
I believe the best care happens when a patient and doctor work together, which is why collaboration is at the heart of my practice. I love listening to my patients, understanding their questions and priorities, and working with them to create a plan that is right for them. I enjoy developing a personal relationship with my patients and I hope all of my patients feel that they are actively involved in their own health and wellness.
I grew up in the Bay Area and love serving the community where I was raised. I am also passionate about helping women in underserved communities and have provided medical care for families in far reaching parts of the world. I firmly believe that everyone should have access to quality healthcare and I enjoy using my skills to provide the very best care to each and every one of my patients.

Doctor is very nice, she could listen to you carefully and tell you how to do the next very clearly. It's a very comfortable conversation and exam. Also different woman related exams all gather together, so you can do every exam very smooth and convenient.

Land explained things very well.
My only comment is I think somehow the address took me to 2500 hospital drive which was the wrong place and so I was almost late.

I made appointment with her to do my annual check up (pap test..) and also to share the local lower abdominal pain I was experiencing . She just listened to my conversation regarding my pain and made notes , did manual check of my uterus and said she does not know where the pain is coming from . Then she said she can not do the annual check up and
tests , I have to come back again. She recommended to get GI consult and did not give me any referral names or letter .

Dr. Tan was super knowledgeable, explaining every single little detail to me. She was patient, even though on occasion I asked the same question multiple times just to get more clarification. She explained all of my options, and listed pros/cons. I never felt pushed to choose a certain option, but she was definitely ready to give her recommendation when I asked. This was honestly the first good doctor appointment I've had in a LONG time, and I felt reassured and confident when I left. I'm SO glad I decided to see Dr. Tan and would recommend her to anyone looking for an understanding, patient OBGYN
