I am Dr. Thelma Browne-Kaine, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice graduate from Maryville University. I am dedicated to providing excellent, patient-focused, comprehensive care to individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
I am passionate about evaluating, diagnosing, and providing individualized treatment for a range of mental health needs, including ADHD, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and psychotic disorders. I offer brief therapy sessions, comprehensive education, and medication management, working alongside a dedicated team to help you overcome your mental health challenges.
As your provider, I conduct a thorough psychiatric assessment and offer psychotherapy and psychopharmacology management to help you lead your best life. I approach my role as a friend, helping you understand your symptoms and diagnoses. My practice is centered on providing safe, empathetic, and patient-centric mental healthcare to children, adolescents, and adults. To achieve your mental health goals, I follow evidence-based guidelines, complemented by my extensive clinical experience, personal observations, and intuition.
I specialize in treating ADHD, depression, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, psychotic disorders, bipolar I and II, schizophrenia, substance misuse, and chronic mental illness using psychiatric assessment, psychopharmacology management, and brief psychotherapeutic interventions.
During your initial visit, I will provide a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, and together, we will determine your treatment goals. You can also expect ongoing medication management and education about your diagnosis and the available treatment options. Your cooperation is essential for me to serve you best.

Dr. Kaine is amazing; she listens to you and treats you with respect. She meets you at your level and works with you to address your problem. Whatever you are dealing with, whether it’s substance addiction or depression, if you need help, give her a try, and I believe you will be glad you did. I highly recommend her.
