I am a graduate of UCLA School of Medicine. I completed my Adult Psychiatry Residency at the University of California at San Diego and my Child Psychiatry Fellowship at Stanford University. I have practiced psychiatry for over thirty years and seen thousands of patients. I specialize in psychopharmocology (medication treatment) of all psychiatric disorders but particularly complex cases including complex mood disorder. I was the Medical Director of the International BiPolar Foundation for 15 years and I received a Special Presidential Commendation from the American Psychiatric Association and a Profiles in Courage Award from the California Psychiatric Association. I am a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. However, I do not accept any insurance in my practice and all visits must be paid in advance.
