Thomas “Luke” Lucas, M.D., earned a bachelor of arts in history and French from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. He received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. He performed his residency at AnMed Health Family Medicine in Anderson, South Carolina. Dr. Lucas is board-certified in family medicine.
Dr. Lucas was a United States Peace Corps volunteer, and has volunteered at the Anderson Free Clinic. Dr. Lucas loves caring for the whole patient, from birth to old age. In family medicine, he says that there is never a dull moment and it offers ample opportunities for him to sharpen his professional skills. He feels that Colonial Family Practice provides a great work atmosphere with excellent colleagues and staff members.

My appointment with Dr Lucas went very well. We were able to come to an agreement on something that is very important to me and him. Something that will be on a trial basses. I was having great pain to my lower lumbar area, but I will be seeing my pain therapist next week.other than that, I was able to get prescription written so I could get them filled before I ran out of them over the weekend.
