I've been to two other podiatrist in an attempt to deal with issues of my feet. This is the first time I have felt hopeful. Dr. Palmer was able to explain the physiology of the situation and a way toward a potentially remedy.

Dr. Palmer graduated with honors from California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1987. In 1989 he completed a comprehensive Podiatric Medical and Surgical Residency Program at Hillside/Mercy in San Diego and Kaiser Hospitals in Oakland, California. His professional career started in Portland, Oregon in 1989. Oregon Foot Clinic was founded in 2002, where he continues his practice today.
Dr. Palmer is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Oregon Podiatric Medical Association, and is a Board Certified Foot and Ankle Surgeon with the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons. Also, he is an active staff member at Providence Portland and Adventist Medical Center. Dr. Palmer is committed to continuing medical education through participation in various educational seminars and meetings.
Dr. Palmer has had over 20 years involvement in martial arts including Brazilian Ji Jitsu, Judo, submission wrestling, karate and kickboxing. Among his patients are a number of athletes who compete in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, The Ultimate Fighter and SportFight.

Everyone at the clinic was very professional and friendly. Dr Palmer spent plenty of time with me and I did not feel like I was just in the production line. As a runner, I felt he was very attentive to my particular needs/issues. I feel very confident with him performing my upcoming surgery.

I had an overall positive experience at the Foot Doctor. Dr. Palmer was friendly, took time to address all my issues, explained what was going on, and prepared a treatment plan for me.
In addition, they made it possible for me to get fit for orthotics following my appointment with Dr. Palmer, without a prior appointment. That was a big help, since I live an hour and a half from the office.
I would recommend Dr. Palmer to anyone having problems with their feet.

I was impressed that they could do an x-ray in the office and determine what was wrong and path forward within an hour. They didn't send you out for the x-ray and make you schedule another appointment. I liked the efficiency of the appointment.

I've had 2 major foot surgeries with Dr. Palmer & a couple of minor toenail fungus instances. He's professional, yet made me feel comfortable as we discussed my options. He is extremely knowledgeable & caring, taking time to explain everything, and I've never had to wait more than 10-15 min. for my many appointments, often getting called in immediately. Parking is plentiful with a little lot in the back + the street, & entry is easy, even on crutches. Do not hesitate to see him if you need a great podiatrist!
