Thomas Wickiewicz is a diligent and caring orthopedic surgeon serving the community of New York, NY. He attended Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where he received his medical degree, and completed his internship in general surgery at the New York Hospital. He then completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery and further completed his fellowship in orthopedic surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles. He also holds a bachelor’s degree from Saint Peter's University.
Dr. Wickiewicz runs his own practice and he is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Medical Association, and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Wickiewicz has held multiple academic teaching positions, including assistant attending orthopedic surgeon, and professor of clinical orthopedic surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery and the Weil Medical College of Cornell University respectively. He received the O’Donoghue Award and the AOSSM Outstanding Service Award.
Dr. Wickiewicz is devoted to ensuring the longevity of his patients’ health and developing long-lasting relationships with them. He takes his time to understand symptoms and give correct diagnoses to ensure the continued health of all his patients.
