This was the best eye appointment ever! I am anxious about seeing eye doctors but Dr. Spence and the staff were patient and kind and made me feel at ease.

Dr. Timothy Spence has practiced in the Atlanta area for over 20 years. He is Board Certified and Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. His interests include eye disease diagnosis and treatment, the fitting of specialty contact lenses, and clinical low vision.
Both undergraduate and graduate courses were completed at Ohio State University receiving his doctor of Optometry degree in 1990. A residency in hospital-based optometry was completed at the Cleveland VA medical Center in Ohio. Dr. Spence became recognized as a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry in 1997.
Dr. Spence is married with three children. His wife Christine is an architect with a local architectural/engineering firm.
