Going to the doctor's office is always nerve racking and uncomfortable. However, Dr. Pearson has gone well beyond making sure to minimize this. The environment is calming and all the staff are friendly and supportive. This is what health care should look like, thank you!! :)

Dr. Tuesday Pearson, founder of Joya Women's Healthcare, was born and raised in Portland. Dr. Pearson graduated with honors from Woodrow Wilson High School followed by the University of Oregon where she received her Bachelors of Science in General Sciences. After college Dr. Pearson spent several years working as a researcher within the Oregon Health and Sciences University department of trauma.
Dr. Pearson attended Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Henderson, Nevada. A guiding force in her decision to pursue an osteopathic degree was her concept of health as an interaction of the mind and complete body.
During her time in medical school Dr. Pearson fell in love with women’s medicine. After medical school she moved to New York City where attended her Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at St. John’s Episcoal Hospital where she was trained in both the basics and more specialized areas of women's healthcare. Her love of caring for patients was obvious during her time in residency and she was selected for chief resident in her final year of training.
Despite traveling across the country for education and training Dr. Pearson's heart has always been in the Pacific Northwest and in 2013 she returned to Portland, Oregon. It is in Portland that she is finally able to bring her ideas about complete women's healthcare to fruition in a luxury setting.

Dr. Pearson and her staff are fantastic. I had my first patient appointment with her today and she is very patient, a great listener, straight forward, and has a great sense of humor. I was able to get blood work done in the office instead of being shuffled out to a busy lab. Having everything in-house made my visit very convenient.

Dr. Pearson's office is beautiful and welcoming. I was a new patient and waited no time at all. Both the nurse and Dr. Pearson were attentive, reading over the comments I provided before my visit. Dr. Pearson was the most amazing ob/gyn I've ever visited. She took notes as we were discussing the reason for my visit, and she and I are on the same page about what kind of options I am looking for. She even called me the next day, a Saturday, with my test results. She went above and beyond to help me as a new patient.

Dr. Tuesday was very efficient and wasted no time with me. She explained my options thoroughly and was able to curtail them to what would work best for me in her opinion, but left the end decision up to me which I love.
The office was so cute and very cozy. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. The other workers were so nice and made for a lovely visit.
I would highly recommend Dr. Tuesday Pearson to anyone looking.

OK, not only did I get in right away but I ended up being 30 mins early and they took me in right away. Her bedside manner was the best I have ever had. Better book your appointments now because I am telling all my co-workers there is finally a Women's Heath DOCTOR (not the NP because the doctor's schedule is too full) that will see you and not make you feel rushed or wait five months to get an appointment and is AMAZING and funny too!
