About Dr. Danielle Dion

Danielle Dion, MD (she/her) is a board-certified OB/Gyn who loves taking care of women. Originally from California, Dr. Dion completed her undergraduate studies at Lewis & Clark College in biochemistry, then returned to California for a year to work as a wine chemist. She earned her medical degree from Vanderbilt University in 2003 followed by residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology also at Vanderbilt University. She then returned to Portland and has been practicing in the community since 2007. Dr. Dion feels passionate about getting to know her patients as individuals and partner with them along their healthcare journey. She knows how important it is to be and feel seen and heard as a patient and strives to provide this experience. Dr. Dion enjoys working with women throughout the stages of their lives and feels comfortable caring for women from their very first encounter with an OB/Gyn --through their needs in menopause and beyond. Dr. Dion feels especially passionate about preventative care and perimenopause/menopause care and is a proud breast cancer survivor. She is married and has two wonderful children.
