My name is Ugoezi Bridget Agu and I am a certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Las Vegas, Nevada. My focus area of practice is diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders. I am committed to providing culturally appropriate, and compassionate health care, with goals of improving your mental well-being and overall health.

My approach to mental health care is holistic; with consideration to a person's entire well-being, including their physical, emotional, social, and environmental factors that impact their mental health.
My focus
I work with children, Teens, and Adults. In addition to Medication management, I diagnose and treat various Mental health and psychiatric conditions including, but not limited to Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, PTSD, ADHD, Substance Abuse, Personality disorders, Autism, Behavioral issues, Difficulty Coping with Life issues and much more.

I maintain a conversational tone during visits to keep clients engaged and at ease. My communication style includes active listening, respectful communications, and treating clients like I would want myself or my family treated.
My journey to mental healthcare
I was drawn to mental health care because I've always been intrigued by how the brain works. Most importantly, I enjoy working with people, as well helping others overcome some of life's challenges and become better versions of themselves.

Goal setting is approached as a collaborative effort between myself and the client. Client identifies behaviors that they wish to improve, and we create an achievable action plan together.
