She completed her internship in Internal medicine at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, Queens, NY. She completed her residency in Internal medicine at Englewood Hospital Medical Center, Englewood, NJ. She joined Rockland Endocrine in 2006. Dr. Silberman is fluent in Russian.
Our medical assistants are trained to provide patients with instructions regarding utilization of blood glucose monitors, insulin administration, and use of other endocrine medications.
We provide a broad range of laboratory services in our CLIA Certified diagnostic laboratory. This allows our patients to have the necessary blood tests drawn on the day of visit.
We are affiliated and provide consultative services at Good Samaritan and Nyack Hospitals.

Dr Silberman was great. Caring and forthright don't always go together but this doctor possesses both qualities. However, when I was done, dealing with check out was different entirely. I had made a payment by phone before my appointment to avoid standing and coughing all over everyone. The young man at the desk didn't believe me that I had no co-pay for the visit and had already made a payment. He insisted I stand there, while I was coughing into my arm until he verified everything I told him. Not only was I humiliated, I was having difficulty breathing. Like being sick as a dog wasn't bad enough. Good thing I love the doctors here. BTW, check-in is always very gracious and efficient.

There is nothing bad to say about Dr. Silberman. I loved being a patient at at her practice. But I moved away. She listens and takes copious notes. She cares about her patients and her bedside manner is so comforting.
Her office situation is a nightmare. The phone system is almost always down, and it's impossible to get through to make an appointment or speak to someone. It took weeks to get my records sent forward.

I am hoping the the wait was weather related (as it was stated to me by the staff). Overall the staff and office are great, easy to locate/navigate. Dr. Silberman was kind and had a relaxed vibe and listened to my concerns and answered questions I had. I will return soon and I don't expect to wait as long, or at least hoping not!

Very Happy with Dr. Silberman. She was extremely thorough
and took an interest in my entire health not simply just tending to the reason for the visit. (hypertension) She recommended two herbal supplements in addition to the Rx I'm taking , (supplements were for sleep, and hot flashes). Both worked!! I feeling amazingly better and will continue to see her for my regular visits.
