Many times when a person is feeling and experiencing pain, this can make a person feel disconnected from others. I believe that when a person reaches out for help and support, this is the first step in the healing process. Through establishing and building a therapeutic relationship, based on congruence, unconditional positive regard, and empathetic understanding, I can help facilitate a place to foster healing, personal growth, change, and self discovery.

I should not have to fill out more forms to see an online therapist than I do to buy a house or have major surgery. She has over a dozen forms to fill out before she will talk to you. I wasn't able to fill them all out before my appointment (I am going through an EXTREMELY stressful time, which is why I was reaching out for help). She could have been patient and let me fill out the extra 11 forms really quick, but she wasnt. Before even asking me how I was doing, she asked about the forms and kept asking me if there was "another time that would work" for me. No. There's not. THIS is the time that works for me, which is why I booked the appointment. In fact, Lifeline Medical reached out to me to reschedule my appointment since she was not actually available at the time I had originally booked on Zocdoc. So this was already the time that worked for HER, not me. I didn't feel like she was going to be able to empathize with me so I ended the appointment right there.
