A truly exceptional doctor! Dr. Thakkar has really changed my life by finding a treatment plan that was just right for me Dr. Thakkar is always professional and seems to really care about his patients. He is easy to communicate with during visits and is responsive to emails and phone messages.

I believe there is no substitute for adequate face-to-face time in providing accurate and quality care. I have worked in research trials at NYU and Vanderbilt on depression/anxiety, ADHD, and other disorders so I take a systematic approach for the best results. Though I do take some therapy cases, most patients see an outside psychotherapist with whom I consult on a regular basis. Everyone I see gets a comprehensive evaluation with recommendations, whether they be for therapy, medications, lifestyle interventions, or further testing.
