I have practiced and served as a Obstetrician and Gynecologist in South New Jersey since 1972. My approach has been integral, modern medicine along with the holistic thinking and holistic treatment.
I feel that everyone of us, specially Obstetrician & Gynecologist has the responsibility to guide patients and expectant parents for a better physical, mental and spiritual health.
As a physician, I have loved my profession, loved my patients, and have practiced a holistic approach and healthy lifestyle. It has come natural to me, because of growing up in a Gandhian philosophy and lifestyle.
After delivering babies for 30 years, now I only do office gynecology. Appointments can be obtained for emergency on the same day if necessary or at within 2-3 days. I speak Hindi, Gujrati, and other Indian languages. We are an all woman staff.

I was really nervous for my appointment because it was my first ever gynecological exam. Dr. Ghandi was extremely gentle and made sure that I was comfortable the entire time. My fear of visiting the "female doctor" is no more! I will be sure to come again for my next exam.

It was ok!! Although the doctor made comments about my breakouts on my face which I did not like!! And it was outdated advice that she was trying to give!! And some were old myths too!! I went there for gynecology not dermatology!! I felt like she was too opinionated about my face and a little bit on my issue with my visit as well!! Most likely I will not go back!!

I had an awful appointment at this office that has taken me months to get over. I had to make very painful decisions in the past to terminate 2 pregnancies so I went to the kindest reviewed female doc that I could find. My expectations were high for a gentle appointment and I was actually excited to find a permanent OB. The office was older and very outdated but I wasn't comming for ambiance so am not even factoring that. Upon being led into the exam room by an older indian woman and seeing the obgyn exam table I had a full blown panic attack. I've never had one in my life before but I was shaking and crying so hard I couldn't catch my breath. When the assistant had me sit on a stool I almost fell off, it was terrifying, embarrassing and uncontrollable all at once. After about 5 minutes I explained that I had a very traumatic medical abortion and I wanted to speak with the doctor and I wouldn't be able to do my exam today. To pain the pictue I am almost a 30 year old professional woman that was reduced to a pile of tears and sobbing. So long story short, it wasn't the receptive, warm environment I hoped for. The doctor was a little cold after I told her about my situation which I was shocked about. She even said "with so many abortions....." . Are you kidding me? Two abortions in 5 years from someone that is on a medication that is necessary for daily functional living and should not be used while pregnant. I understand how there are some women that may use it as their only form of birth control but regardless of its use no one should be looked down on. I felt very shamed leaving the office and based on my experience I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. On leaving the assistant, very sweetly, told me I shouldn't cry so much. I'm sure she was trying to be nice but that was salt in my gaping wounds.

The buidling is an old house and the main entrance of the house is covered by a bunch of leaves and its a REALLY old house. So the other "main entrance" is on the side of the house which is confusing and inconvenient. The curtains/shades were falling off and if you don't make it or cancel your appointment you have to pay like $15 which that was the first time I ever saw that before which is terrible. Also the tongs and things they use are VERY old school. Its this hard metal tongs that they put in this jar where they disinfecte it but they put the tong back in the jar after every use like they don't switch out the disinfectant solution every time they handle a different patient. It was awful and painful. She also questions you a lot about your choices of birth control or your sex life. I felt really judged and scared. She also handled me really rough which It made me feel super uncomfortable the whole time. I will never return again its not modern the building is old and not welcoming at all.

Atmosphere does not give you a doctors office feel. It feels more like your grandmothers house. I would've liked a more professional setting. Other than that Dr. Ghandi was wonderful and so were the other staff.

It was useless, I had an appointment at 6:15 pm and they kept calling asking me to come earlier because I am the last patient, and then called me again 15 mins earlier before my appointment asking me to reschedule because they have to leave but I insisted on to be seen because I was not late for my appointment. The doctor was not professional by all means.

The assistant who took me back was very nice! She assured me it was okay and talked me through everything. After getting my medical history out of the way, it was time for my exam.
