Our physician is Dr. Bruce Lobitz; he has been certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine for 20 years and has extensive experience in both emergency medicine and urgent care. If you have a new problem or cannot wait to see your doctor we can help.
If you are within the greater Columbia area we are available for house calls. We will come to your location or residence for evaluation and treatment, such as antibiotic injections, laceration repair, or medications for vomiting or headache.
In addition, we can order or schedule virtually any lab test or radiology exam (i.e. CT, MRI, Ultrasound) or refer you to an appropriate specialist. Every test that we order or schedule for you includes a telephone call to explain the results.
At VIA we specialize in the personal touch; we provide one-on-one physician consultation by video. No nurse practitioners and no "assistants." You get the full attention of a doctor, and we can discuss your situation for as long as you would like to.
At this time we are only fee for service; the national average charge for an urgent care visit is $178; we charge exactly one-half of that: $89 for a 30 minute consultation. You can file a claim with your health insurance provider and recover all/most of your visit charge. We will help you file your claim in any way we can. We take the usual online payments: Paypal, Venmo, and CashApp.

I had a great experience with Dr. Lobitz. He is funny and blunt, and I enjoy that. (I guess having a sense of umor helps.) I just want to know the bottom line and get out of the office. He was very thorough and patient with me during my visit. I was hesitant about going to an urgent care for the first time but was very pleasantly surprised by the visit.
