Victor L. Casiano, M.D., earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, and completed both his internship and residency at the William Beaumont Army Hospital, El Paso. He then served as chief of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic at Reynolds Army Community Hospital in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Dr. Casiano spent 12 years in private practice in San Antonio before joining the Institute for Women’s Health.
In addition to being a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Casiano is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopy, Texas Medical Association and Bexar County Medical Society. Dr. Casiano is skilled in da Vinci robotic surgery and minimally invasive surgery for most pelvic conditions. He also has a special interest in incontinence surgery and repair of pelvic prolapse.
Dr. Casiano is fluent in both English and Spanish. He and his wife, Theresa, have two daughters, one a lawyer and the other an OB/GYN.
