Martha E. Schmitz, MD has been board certified in obstetrics and gynecology for 18 years. She recently completed her board re-certification. She is a member of the Travis County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, Project Access and AOA Medical Honor Society.
She did her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M, Medical school at UTMB Galveston, Texas and 4 year residency in OB/GYN at SUNY Syracuse, finishing in 1993. Her medical practice is devoted to her interests in Obstetrics, collaborative health promotion, and office gynecology including Colposcopy and office surgery. She is also skilled in laparoscopic GYN surgery and surgery for bladder suspension and treatment of pelvic floor relaxation. Her personal life is devoted to her daughter, son, husband and pets. She loves to be outdoors, camps, swims and recently has taken up sewing. She speaks Spanish and French.
