Great doctor, very supportive and understanding. I'm seeing this doctor for 2 years already, even that he is not located close by my house. Always takes time to talk with you and explain everything step by step.

Kind hearted, great bedside manner, would go back again. Would recommend going in the morning to be first appt. Made a last minute appointment and had to follow up with the nurse to check on whether the doctor knew I was there. He was very apologetic and wasn't his fault.

I'm a tourist who arrive to doctor lyapis and i found an Amazing person, very helpful, great treatment. Highly recommended!
He was very personable, and explained clearly to me all the symptoms he was observing and how that led to his diagnosis.

Not very professional. He answered his cell phone during my appointment. Office seemed dirty and smelled awful.
Very uncomfortable experience. Seemed like they do not that their stuff together. The doctor seemed careless.
Very efficient and friendly. Booked for first appointment in the morning and no wait. Recommended.

He was great! Got what I went for and he went out of his way to help me with a few other things.
Did not really spend the time to do a thorough annual physical. Was in and out in 15 minutes.
Very quick. Everyone was extremely friendly and I will be back when I need another appointment!

A very good doctor. He know what he's talking about and what he's prescribing. Very smart.

Dr. Lyapis commited to helping patients live healthier and genuinely care about patients.
I like and trust my physician and therefore I disclose complete information efficiently.
Bad diagnosis. Very out of date medical facility. Would not visit again unfortunately.

Everything went well and would recommend Dr. Victor Lyapis.
He was very professional and gave me the support I needed.
Highly unprofessional atmosphere. I almost walked out.
Dr. Lyapis is very carrying doctor I have ever seen.
Very personable and takes the time to hear you out
Had his front desk assistant run an EKG on me while picking up multiple phone calls. Dr. Lyapis then expresses his deep concern around my EKG and tells me to walk myself over to the emergency room for further evaluation, all while in the same room of three other confused-looking patients.
Like most of the others who have written here - this guy was super blunt. I was trying to explain my problems and he kept cutting me off, rolling his eyes, then said he had heard enough and walked out handing me a prescription on the way... I had to chase him down in the hallway to ask for a more detailed explanation of what was wrong with me and why I needed to get Xrays. Super weird.
The doctor himself was fine, and I was able to get an appointment the night before which was great! I had to wait over an hour to see the doctor for five minutes and by that time I was in tears over the stress of it all and getting back to work on time. So he was sweet in treating me, but the administrative side was very sluggish and they do not communicate wait times or what they need from you (I.e. signature, paperwork) very well.
I had to wait the doctor for about 30 minutes. The doctor left to see another patient not finished with me. I had to wait another 20 mins or so. I asked where is the doctor and the answer was: "He is busy". Afterwards I just left. In overall I spent more than an hour in the office. I think it's way too long and disrespectful.
Great doctor, very supportive and understanding. I'm seeing this doctor for 2 years already, even that he is not located close by my house. Always takes time to talk with you and explain everything step by step.

Waited around thirty minutes to be seen for about five by the doctor who barely examined me. He spent more time in the examination room with me filling out paperwork than actually talking to me and examining me, which made me feel like the doctor didn't really care much. I don't think I would come back to this office again.
Personable and professional

Dr. Lyapis's office was quite unexpected. The receptionist/office staff spoke with thick Russian accents that were sometimes difficult to understand. Everyone in the office including the patients spoke Russian with the exception of myslef. Dr. Lyapis himself was stern and seemingly unsympathetic. His diagnosis was rushed and when he questioned me about my personal drug use he responded judgementally. I told him I use marijuana ocassionaly to which he responded, "dear god." Not only did I feel uncomfortable in the office but the doctors bedside manner left a bad taste in my mouth. Not very professional in my point of view. I would reccomend looking elsewhere for GP's.
Professional ,friendly !

Made me feel like a criminal for having an adderall prescription. Clearly does not approve of the medicine and was very reluctant to renew my prescription, without even asking me first about my history and needs. Would not recommend this doctor to anyone who respects their dignity.
Kind hearted, great bedside manner, would go back again. Would recommend going in the morning to be first appt. Made a last minute appointment and had to follow up with the nurse to check on whether the doctor knew I was there. He was very apologetic and wasn't his fault.
Very accommodating and friendly. Same day appointment and new patient registration all went smoothly. Doctor Lyapis is very thorough and knows his stuff, definitely recommended.

Comically rude. I mean that, comically. It was just funny. He asked me how I could be so stupid that I wouldn't bring my prior medical records. He was very exasperated. I almost felt bad for him, dealing with horrible patients all day. Won't go back, but I'm sure that he's a good fit for someone.

Highly recommended!! Ask the right questions, do the right thing. Very professional but yet funny and you feel relaxed. Nurses and receptionist are very helpful too!!!
Not a professional receptionist or area; receptionist was not friendly or informative. Nobody really explained to me the waiting process and i was led into separate rooms then left waiting.
Very good care.

The office is sort of weird and very Russian (think I was the only English speaker there that day), and I had to pay cash for my co-pay. Hey, whatev. In any case, Dr. Lyapis was easygoing, straightforward, and seemed to know what he was talking about. He seemed like a good doctor. I'm rating it three stars because they sent me to get a renal ultrasound and a blood test and I believe they were supposed to get back to me about the results but they never did. I guess I'm okay?? I dunno, I expected a call, letter, something.
The Dr. himself was good. He definitely knows and understands medicine. Although he was a bit abrasive & rushed. The office staff, however, was very slow at getting anything done. I also got seen in under 30 minutes because I made a point of telling the receptionist I had been waiting far too long already and that I had to get back to work. The Dr. is great for an off visit or two, but not sure I'd made him my primary doctor ever.
I appreciated the nice office staff, and Dr. Lyapis seemed invested in helping me with my medical issue. I'm interested in having him be my PCP. Also this would be a great office for those who speak Russian as their primary language.

Awful Doctor.
Very rude, very disorganized office. WILL NEVER GO BACK. Only go if you need a doctor who speaks Russian! He saw me in his office under piles and piles of paperwork everywhere (think hoarder style) and not even in an exam room. Very unprofessional!
Well for one, the Doctor answered his cell phone (on speaker phone) in the middle of my consultation and asked whoever was on the other line to stay on hold because he was "almost done" then proceeded to ask me if I had any questions about the medication while the other person remained on the phone. Secondly, the Doctor was going to check my heart beat and lungs, he without warning lifted up my shirt from the front. (I'm a girl, for the record) It was very uncomfortable. The office was also not very clean or organized and reception didn't even provide me with the "privacy agreement" that I was required to agree to. I didn't feel like the doctor was listening to my concerns but instead rushing me out (probably to answer his call).
Very nice doctor

Dr. Lyapis is probably a fine enough GP, but I personally had a terrible experience trying to get my ADHD prescription refilled. He clearly doesn't approve of the use of Adderall, especially in combination with Ambien, even though this is a common combination and one I've been taking for years. He treated me like I was an addict trying to pull one over on him, though in the end he finally related and filled the prescription at least.
The office was a little rough around the edges but Dr. Lyapis was very sincere and helpful. It was efficient and solved my problem. Thanks!
The doctor practically yelled at me for getting as sick as I was. No professional should admonish a patient. He was knowledgable and eager to make sure I got the care I needed. However I did not appreciate his harshness during his diagnosis.
My first experience with Dr. Lyapis was not bad, he spent a good amount of time with me and seemed to care about me as a patient. However, my second interaction with him was not great. Firstly I had to wait about 30 minutes after my scheduled time before I was led to wait in another room. He didn’t recall anything from our first appointment and flew threw my records and had me out of his office in a matter of minutes. But that was not the biggest problem… My main requirement for a physician is to help manage a prescription that I’ve been taking for over ten years and work within the restrictions of my health insurance (I only get a certain number of office visits per year). Dr. Lyapis told me that it would not be a problem during the first appointment but then later refused to do so… that is my biggest complaint. On my first visit he wrote me a couple prescriptions to cover my medication needs for the months ahead, but after that he required me to come in every month to write a new one. This is not how it’s done anywhere else. It seems like the clinic’s main objective is to get patients in as much as possible, even when not needed, just so they can collect more money from insurance companies. Also, the receptionist was very rude during our last interaction, although she’s been nice and helpful with me before. Very frustrating and annoying that I have to find a new physician. :-(
Excellent!

A wonderful doctor who really cares about you and your health history. The staff is Very nice and this is one of the best doctors I have seen who listens and give you very helpful advise as well!

Dr. Lyapis is a good all-around physician, in my opinion after my first visit. If you don't mind a strong accent and a clinic that mainly caters to Russians/Ukrainians then he's a good choice. Compared to American doctors he spends more time with you, is readily available and is open to more patient input regarding treatment and prescriptions. I should note that the clinic has a more 'classic' feel that some Americans may not appreciate, being accustomed to the standard 'sterile' feel of clinics today... you'll know what I mean when you're there. Overall a great experience.
