Melissa Hutton is proud to be a member of Circle Medical, a digital-first, patient-focused experience that makes quality care more accessible than ever. She earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University and has been a PA for over 10 years.
I am passionate about healthcare because I love being able to make a positive impact in patients’ lives.
In my opinion, a primary care provider should be attentive and available to care for their patients’ needs. It is important that patients are encouraged to play an active role in their care and engaged in shared decision-making with their provider, addressing both physical and behavioral health needs.
In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, hiking, traveling, and spending time with my family and my dog.

Poor bedside manner. Started the appointment with angry laughter, saying there was an issue with me having duplicate accounts. I had received a message on Circle Medical app and given written consent to merge my accounts the previous day. She repeated the same questions, did not make eye contact, and ended up prescribing a different medication than she said she would. She messaged me to tell me this was safer to take with one of my other prescriptions which I no longer take. She then deflected my question about side effects by saying ‘the same as other drugs like this.’
