Always a good visit. it's nice to know I have a doctors office close by that will see me in emergency's. We all know an emergency room in NYC is torture... This is as pleasant as seeing your own doctor.

Vincent D'Amore was born, raised, and educated in New York City. He was educated initially at Our Lady of Hope School in Middle Village and then Arch Bishop Molloy High School in Briarwood. While working on Wall Street and going to Baruch College for finance he decided that medicine was his true calling and switched to a biology degree and graduated magna cum laude. He then took the long leap to the Bronx and attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Upon graduation he completed a year in internal medicine at St. Barnabus Medical Center in New Jersey followed by a year of musculoskeletal medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He then completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan.
After residency Dr. D'Amore has worked in numerous emergency departments in New York City and on Long Island for the past decade. He has spent much of that time teaching young physicians and earned the title of Fellow of the College of Emergency Physicians, an honor given to board certified emergency medicine physicians dedicated to teaching young doctors. He is also author of the parent's medical guide, "Common Sense Care- A parent's guide to a harmless ER visit."
Realizing that the community where he was raised, and where members of his family still reside, was in need of an urgent care, Dr. D'Amore persuaded his colleagues to open Premier Care Medical Center to serve the community where he was raised.
Dr. D'Amore lives in Long Island with his wife and two young sons and prides himself at being able to give excellent recommendations of interesting places to eat as well as off-beat movies all will enjoy.

The staff was very polite , and professional and so was the doctor, but the fact that she couldn't tell on the X-ray whether my foot was broken or not makes them questionable about their skills . The specialist told me that it was obvious I had a broken bone and couldn't believe that the doctor wasn't able to tell me whether it was broken or not . She didn't ask many question or gave me any predictions . My visit was very brief and left me with a sense that she just check me out too fast . Oh but they manage to bill me for crouches and a boot which the specialist told me not to use . Will certainty not recommend anyone to go there .

I spent more time talking with the patient nurse, than with the doctor himself. The girl at the front desk apparently cannot complete her job. Other than that it was great.

Dr. D'Amore was quick, friendly, respectful, and incredibly helpful. He was available early on a Sunday morning, and it seemed clear that he was very knowledgeable and skilled at his work. I was only in Dr. D'Amore's clinic for a short time, but everyone there seems to be doing a great job.

Good, but I had a little trouble getting the physician working with Dr. D'Amore to be explicit about what symptoms should trigger a return visit or trip to the emergency room. It would have been more helpful if I knew what to worry about and what to ignore.
