Wayne C. Furr, M.D. of Lone Tree OB-GYN, is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist who has practiced for over 30 years. He attended Loma Linda University School of Medicine and did his residency at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles. The multicultural nature of his residency experience has been beneficial over the years of his practice, and his learning of Spanish there has assisted him in mission trips to clinics in South America. Dr. Furr served in active reserve U.S. Air Force from 1980-1982, Edwards AFB, California, and was honorably discharged in 1982 as major. He presently practices at Sky Ridge Medical Center, Porter Adventist Hospital, Parker Adventist Hospital, and Swedish Medical Center, where he serves as Department Chair in OB-GYN service. He has been married for over thirty years to wife Vicki, whom he met in college, and has four children: Alyson, who just graduated with a doctorate in physical therapy; Steven, who will be entering medical school this year at Loma Linda University School of Medicine; Will, who aspires to be a videographer and physical therapist; and Bryan, who is at Loma Linda University with a Biology major and is pre-med, as well. In his spare time he enjoys exercising, reading about history and politics, and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys reading medical journals and keeping up with the latest in Obstetrical and Gynecological medicine.
