I highly recommend Dr. Whitcomb. I’m so sorry I didn’t meet her sooner. She sits down with you, listens, and explains everything you ask very well. With her, I don’t feel as nervous during the exam. It’s a pleasure to have Dr. Whitcomb as my gynecologist. I recommend her to everyone.

Born in Springfield, Vermont, Dr. Whitcomb has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology since 1998. She received her baccalaureate degree in French from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire in 1990, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Her doctor of medicine was awarded to her in 1994 from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington, Vermont. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Louis University in 1998, where she served as Academic Chief Resident. Dr. Whitcomb was awarded the Hubert A. Ritter Award for outstanding skills in gynecologic surgery and the Backer Award for medical excellence in a graduating resident.
She served as a Clinical Instructor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Louis University prior to moving to Tampa, where she practiced with Women’s Care Florida for almost 10 years. She relocated to Winter Park 10 years ago, with her husband, a pediatric radiologist, and daughter, joining Winter Park Ob-Gyn. She has special interest in adolescent gynecology and perimenopausal women’s health. Dr. Whitcomb also enjoys travel, especially to France, skiing and participating in her daughter’s school activities.

Dr. Whitcomb is wonderful! I've only been seeing her for 2 years, but I am happier with her than I was with my doctor of 20 years who retired. Dr. Whitcomb listens, answers questions, and spends as much time as you need. I never feel rushed. The staff is very pleasant and respectful as well.

I cannot say how wonderful this office was to me today. The fit me in even though I was late and moved mountains to make sure I was taken care of. Dr. Whitcomb LISTENED to me and gave me solutions and hope and reassurance and made me feel comfortable and understood. They take their time to explain things and make you comfortable and you don’t feel rushed or embarrassed to ask questions. It’s a wonderful office with a great staff! Will recommend to all my ladies!!!

I can’t say enough good things about this office. It’s beautiful, the office staff are friendly and helpful, appointments are convenient, the doctors and PAs are wonderful (I’ve seen Dr Whitcomb, Dr Safi, and Emily). You will receive personal attention and feel cared for.

I honestly didn’t want to do a review because she’s going to get booked and my appointments is going to be farther out . .lol??. THE ENTIRE STAFF was on point. Dr. Whitcomb answered ALL of my questions . I love her and the nurses as well . From signing in to signing out . It was awesome !!!! She made me feel comfortable . !

Dr. Whitcomb always listens to me and makes me feel supported. Have been battling with possible endometriosis and bad menstrual pain and she is always so patient and takes the time to explain every detail of her thought process.
