About Dr. Silpa Senchani
Dr. Silpa Senchani is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Senchani has a special interest in screening for gynecological cancers, as well as the diagnosis and management of perimenopausal and menopausal disorders. She has expertise in adolescent gynecology, family planning, and the diagnosis and management of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, and menstrual disorders.
Born in India, Dr. Senchani graduated from the prestigious Kurnool Medical College with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S). During her medical school, she received six gold medals and was selected as the best outgoing medical student in her program.
After marriage, she moved to Dublin, Ireland, where she worked for two years at Coombe Women's Hospital. In 2003, she relocated to the USA and began her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens, New York. There, she served as an administrative chief resident, was awarded the best outgoing resident award, and served as an Associate Professor at New York Medical College.
Dr. Senchani is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) and the American Medical Association (AMA). She began her practice in Port St. Lucie, Florida, where she worked for four years before relocating to St. Cloud, Florida.
She is also an author and reviewer of several articles related to women's health.
