I’m extremely picky with health providers and I always do my online homework (I’m a second year college student) before making an appointment. Dr. Nager is every bit as good as the reviews say he is. What I appreciate most is that he is warm, friendly and knowledgable in many naturopathic health techniques. It helped me after a shoulder injury using naturopathic manipulative therapy, physiotherapies and trigger point injections. He helped me cure my excema using tord allergy testing and dietary advice. He also made recommendations to complement the medical management of my life long problem with Type I diabetes which was getting out of control. I’ve recommended him to my college friends and whole family.

Dr. William D. Nager has been practicing naturopathic medicine and homeopathy for almost 3 decades since graduating from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1985. Early in his schooling at NCMN he specialized in classical homeopathy and successfully and used homeopathy as his core modality during the first 10 years of his practice in Tucson, Arizona. In 1992 he was accepted into an advanced standing program at Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon, resulting in his dual licensure in naturopathic (OR) and chiropractic medicine (CT, MA). His practice has taken a more eclectic turn since that time.
Dr. Nager maintains a full-time naturopathic practice in SE Portland with patients seeking alternative medicine for a wide variety of complaints. He also works with numerous patients for pain management, successfully treating them primarily with spinal manipulation, neural therapy, bio-puncture, trigger point techniques, dry needling, and a variety of physiotherapy modalities.
When Dr. Nager is not in the office treating patients you can find him walking the family dog Klondike around the Multnomah village neighborhood, skiing and Kayaking with his two sons, or relaxing and rejuvenating at the beach in Rockaway and Manzanita. He enjoys eating locally grown, organic meals and also practices and believes in the healing benefits of meditation and yoga.

I was very pleased to find a doctor who is so competant in classical homeopathy. My results have been excellent, & my experience in his office was pleasant, welcoming, & professional. Dr. Nager is also very knowledgable in nutrition and botanical medicine and someone to whom I will refer my family & friends.

My cholesterol was high when I made an appointment with Dr. Nager. My goal was to reduce it from 235 to
below 200. With supplements and natural remedies and diet and exercise my totals dropped from 235 to
188 with good numbers for HDL/LDL and triglycerides. Dr. Nager also treated my recurring shoulder injury
to help me mange the aches and pain. He followed up promptly and I never had long waits in the office.

Dr. Nager has treated my children periodically since they were ages 3 and 6 (they are now 27 and 30!) He treated me pre and post - op for removal of an ovarian tumor and his prep and suggestions undoubtedly sped up my healing process. He is very understanding of allopathic methods and his work integrates and improves care and healing in a safe manner.

Went in with a baker's cyst on my L knee which had been non symptomatic for 30 yrs & had become painful preventing me from running. Following 3 neural therapy treatments I am able to run without pain for 3 miles. Thankyou Dr Nager!! Fantastic service & comprehensive naturopathic working including neuropathy. Brilliant!!

Dr. Naeger, was extremely helpful and caring when I saw him. He asked me extensive questions about my condition and offered a variety of natural treatment options rather than an antibiotic, which was exactly what I was looking for. Dr. Nager continued to check up on me after my visit to make sure that I was recovering quickly and getting the treatment that I needed.
