I was hesitant to go because of the poor reviews about long wait times and rude office people. My experience was opposite. I arrived at 9:50 for a 10:10 appointment. I was greeted immediately. I was given a tablet to complete my medical history. After that, I was escorted to an exam room and blood pressure was taken. Even though I brought xrays, they wanted to do more. I was escorted to the xray area. I waited about 10 minutes while the tech finished the previous patient. She escourted me back to the exam room where my husband was waiting. The doctor came in almost immediately. We looked at the x-rays together he suggested a course of treatment. We decided on surgery. Dr Peace's assistant, Page, will get me on the surgery schedule for sometime in February, 2017. I was given a folder with info on the surgery as well as exercises to strengthen the muscles prior to the surgery. I left understanding my problem and the solutions available to me. All this was accomplished by 10:55. I am impressed with the professional and efficient manner in which this practice operates. I am looking forward to the same attitude during and after my surgery.

William Peace, M.D., is a board-eligible orthopedic surgeon, who specializes in total joint replacements of the hip and knee. A graduate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, Dr. Peace completed his orthopedic training at the University of California San Diego, where he was also a research fellow. Dr. Peace also completed a reconstruction fellowship at the Anderson Orthopaedic Research Institute in Alexandria, Virginia. Among other things, Dr. Peace specializes in the anterior approach to hip replacement surgery, an approach that is less invasive and can result in shorter recovery times. Having received numerous honors for his research and work, Dr. Peace has written several chapters for medical text books and has been published in several journals. In addition to English, Dr. Peace speaks conversational Spanish.
Outside of work, Dr. Peace enjoys fishing hiking, camping and skiing. He has also completed four half marathons. Dr. Peace is a member of the Colorado Air National Guard.
