Dr. Chen is a board certified ophthalmologist and a graduate of the Tokai University, school of medicine in Japan. He completed his cornea research in Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami. Prior to his private practice, he completed his post-graduate residency at the University of Louisville, cornea/external disease fellowship at the University of Texas in Dallas. He started his private practice in 1999. In 2002, he further incorporated ophthalmic acupunture treatment into his practice after completing his acupuncture training at San Fransisco.
