Dr. Xiaorong (Sharon) Dai was born and raised in China. She received her medical education both in China and the United States. After graduating from West China University of Medical Sciences, she completed 5 years of OB/GYN residency training and began practicing in China. As an accomplished Gynecologist, she further developed an interest in endometriosis and began a fellowship to explore the risk and management of this complicated disease. She received advanced laparoscopic surgical training in the diagnosis and treatment of pelvic pain and endometriosis. She also received further training in vulvar and vaginal re-construction surgical techniques during this time.Dr. Dai (pronounced “Day”) moved to the United States in 1993 and completed a 6 month mini-residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach focusing on infectious disease, anesthesiology, general surgery and internal medicine before entering her second OB/GYN residency in the United States.Dr. Dai has been practicing in West Palm Beach and Wellington since July 2005; she obtained OB/GYN board certification in July 2007. Her ultimate ambition is to provide excellent medical service and consultation to women and adolescents in our community.

My visits with Dr dai were not so pleasant. Being pregnant with my first child I had lots of questions and always felt that she was always in a rush not to answer them. Then when I was having pain I told her she sent me to hospital in i stayed overnight and then the following wk when I went bk to see her she didn't even ask how I was feeling and I had to remind her that she put me on bed rest and I was in the hospital Bc of contraction. Worst experience ever. If I could change doc I would very unhappy.

She made me wait for an hour just to speak to me, and then instead of listening to what I came in for (severe abdominal pain and needing a breast reduction for terrible back and shoulder and chest pain) she merely complained about my birth control method not being right for me and I made a terrible decision with my last doctor. Then I waited another 45 min in the exam room for a pap that took less than a minute and was extremely painful. When I mentioned she was too rough and that it hurt, she had the nurse call in a pain med to my pharmacy. Not necessary, she just needs to fix her technique. Not going back.

This was my 4th visit, I will NOT be back.
She knew nothing at all about me and I has to call 8 times to remind her to send in my RX. The RX was 3 days late and was called in incorrect. Thankfully my pharmacy noticed!

Dr is ok, staff was ok. the waiting time, not so good. As for getting anything out of the staff for any test results ... very poor. I do not believe in wasting time when this informatoin can be given over the phone. Especially since that time could be given to another patient who may truly need that time with a doctor.

It was painful waiting 2 hours for a dr to talk to u for 2 minutes and pass u quickly because her she over booked appointments for the same time !
Then she tells u to go some where else for ur sonogram !
Then some where else to get ur blood work !
I don't know why are they in business then !
I will never go back nor will trust un professional office like that

I was treated as a person and not as a number!!! The office staff as well were very very helpful!!! I can now say i found a good GYN that understands my issues!!!

I am a new patient, but had an unfortunate miscarriage. I am very happy with Xiaorong Dai, MD services. I was seen right away as a new patient. I was treated more than fairly. And their services was very good and fast. I did not feel any wait time.
