Dr. Yissell Delvalle, MD, FASAM our CEO and Founder,
Dr. Yissell Delvalle is a board-certified psychiatrist and board-certified addiction medicine physician who specializes in the treatment of depression, treatment-resistant depression, anxiety disorders, and addiction.
She earned her medical degree from UMDNJ–Rutgers Medical School in Newark, New Jersey, and completed her residency training in psychiatry at Saint Vincent’s Hospital in New York City. Dr. Delvalle graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University, where she studied Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
Dr. Delvalle has extensive experience in general psychiatry, addiction medicine, psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and psychopharmacology. She provides comprehensive, individualized care with a focus on patients who have not responded to traditional treatments.
Her clinical work includes the treatment of treatment-resistant depression using advanced therapies such as TMS and Spravato (esketamine), as well as the management of substance use disorders, dual diagnosis, and complex psychiatric conditions.
Dr. Delvalle also integrates women’s hormonal health into her approach, recognizing the impact of hormonal changes on mood, energy, and overall well-being.
