Dr. Young W. Lee is an insightful, careful acupuncturist treating patients in Silver Spring, Maryland, and the surrounding communities. His goal as a practitioner is to improve the quality of life of each of his patients. He has been practicing both Eastern and Western medicine for more than 25 years.
Originally from South Korea, Dr. Lee pursued his medical education at the Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, earning his Ph.D. Dr. Lee keeps his practice up-to-date with continuing education courses, including advanced Chinese Medicine training at the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. He is also now a member of the Maryland Acupuncture Society.
Patients visiting Dr. Lee can receive a full range of medical services. He provides acupressure, acupuncture, Chinese medicinal massage, cupping, and moxibustion. Dr. Lee individualizes treatment for each of his patients and makes sure to fully discuss treatment options. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Lee enjoys golf, reading, cooking, and spending time with his wife and son.
