About Leah Li

Ms. Leah Li is a Licensed Acupuncturist practicing in Rockville, Maryland. She holds a Master’s in Acupuncture from the Maryland University of Integrative Health, formerly the Tai Sophia Institute, and earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia. Ms. Li treats patients from both a Five Element Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective. She was first introduced to the incredible healing power of acupuncture when she became very ill in her early 30s. Through a combination of Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, Western Medicine, and Nutrition, she regained her health and began her pursuit of becoming an Acupuncturist to serve those in her community. She believes in the body's ability to heal itself when given the right environment and support. Leah is passionate about helping her patients live with health, vibrancy, and balance in their busy lives. In addition to offering acupuncture, moxibustion, and other acupuncture-related modalities, Leah provides nutritional and lifestyle recommendations to support patients in their healing journey. Honeslty never would have thought I would have found such an amazing acupuncturist on an app. She’s so thorough. I never feeling like she’s rushing me out. She addresses every issue I have. When I came to her about my pelvic floor issue she looked into it and learned how to treat it for me. I recommended her to anyone who will listen.

I'm so glad I went to see Leah after several days of nagging back pain, I needed relief and got an acupuncture session with Leah. Her clinic is a nice peaceful space where I immediately felt at ease. The one thing I look forward to on a weekly basis! Leah is very knowledgeable! Starting acupuncture has definitely improved my life. My treatment experience has been beyond excellent. My body has been responding well to acupuncture, so it usually just takes one session to eliminate the pain I’m experiencing after a heavy week of weight lifting. I come once a month for acupuncture and I wouldn’t think of going elsewhere. Leah is very knowledgeable and puts you at ease. The office is very calming and peaceful. I almost always fall asleep during a session. The session from start to finish is very nice, never feels rushed and very thorough. I have visited Doctor Li a week ago. I went there for sleep and anxiety problems. After a day or so, my sleep was much better and felt great when I woke up. I came to see Leah because i was experiencing chronic sickness and extreme fatigue for the better half of a year. After inconclusive tests and a lack of solutions from my GP i turned to acupuncture after a family member suggested it. I went into it with some skepticism. A few sessions in and i started to notice a shift in the way i felt. Since i started acupuncture 2 months ago i haven't gotten sick once, when before i was getting head colds and feeling extremely fatigued every other week. I can't Thank Leah enough for the work has done for me, her treatment has truly worked wonders. Highly recommend!

She speaks Spanish fluently. What a surprise! I loved the fact that she was very concerned about my sneezing problem (becouse of my rinitis) so she asked me if I felt cold, she let me tissues next to me, game me the option to put a facemask becouse light bothers me sometimes and make me sneeze...
