Empowering and teaching patients to make more informed decisions regarding their health. Increasing access to healthcare services and emphasizing the importance of preventative health care.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
The primary care provider serves as a healthcare access point for most patients. A reliable line of communication between the patient and provider is key. The primary care provider will manage common medical conditions pertaining to both physical and mental health, coordinate care with specialists and additional healthcare team members when necessary, and emphasize preventative care.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time I enjoy sports, traveling, and spending time with family. My favorite sport is soccer. When listening to music, I typically find myself listening to beach radio on Pandora.
