I’m here as a guide in times of transition and want to support you to live the life you want and be integrity. I will support you by listening to your story and sharing with you what I’ve learned. I am fascinated by the intersection of the psychological and the physiological and want to explore how these are intertwining for you.
As a mental health nurse practitioner, I use a combination of counseling and biological approaches. You and I will work together to figure out what medications, supplements, herbs, or dietary changes could be supportive to you.
With my training in functional medicine, which addresses the root causes of illness, we will explore more about how the body may be impacting your experience, and set priorities. We will also explore your mindset and motivation, often as additional support to work with a primary therapist. Occasionally, when appropriate to your situation, I offer hypnosis as a means of addressing particular concerns such as difficulty sleeping, specific anxieties, and adopting new patterns and habits.
No matter the approach, I’m present and engaged with you, nonjudgmentally. For some, a focus on the biological can lead to huge shifts, and for others, change comes from exploring inner life.
I will support you to gain insight into these dynamics and become more conscious of automatic thoughts and behaviors so that you can address what’s most important to you. I look forward to connecting with you.
