Dr. Osterweil is probably good at what he does, and my review isn't in judgement of his capabilities as a doctor. I thought he was quick to suggest medication, which I am not a fan of. Subsequent to my visit, I still struggle with the medical concerns with which I went to him. That could be because I did not take the steroids he prescribed, which he wasn't certain would help; or because he couldn't identify the problem. I cant say with certainty.
I like to have a conversation with my doctors and therefore tend to lean more towards those who exude a certain warmth. I found that lacking.He is also a bit more straight talking than I am comfortable with.

I definitely wouldn't recommend Dr. Osterweil if you have a high-deductible insurance plan. I went in for a minor consultation and ended up with a shockingly large bill. Make sure you get prices in advance!
Additionally, the billing setup the doctor uses is an embarrassment. It took 3.5 months before I received the bill (counting from after my insurance processed the claim), and don't expect online payments, or even credit cards accepted!

Dr. Osterweil did such a great job cleaning removing the nasal polyps out my nasal cavity. Now I can taste and smell again! He is an awesome Doctor! I highly recommend him to anyone patient that needs an ENT doctor! Go with this Doctor!
