The PA we saw was great but the nurse we saw first was so unprofessional. When I asked how he was he was like I can’t wait for this day to be over (we were at the end of the day). We’re from out of state. When I said where we’re from he made an offensive comment (politically) about our metro area. Then when I said the specific suburb, he completely bashed it. Read the room! It is so unprofessional to make political comments.

I wouldn't describe my visit with anybody.
As far as choosing the Intermountain Clinic, it's close by, my GP practices there and I've gone there for over a decade.

Susan was one of the best nurses I have ever encountered. She was pleasant, intelligent and easy to connect with.
Dr. Haugan gave us great advice about next steps, which is why I am in the hospital now! Very informed and gave us good reason to seek further medical advice.

These walk in clinics in Billings make it very easy for anyone to check out a
minor concern like a cold isn’t leading to something more serious and to get
advice about self-medication for your
particular symptoms. This clinic also tested for Covid and influenza. Seniors
shouldn’t mess around with a bad cold.

The staff was great, professional and I know they tried to be helpful. But I think maybe their resources didn’t allow it? I had a deep wound that was bleeding profusely, I mainly went in to get it cleaned out and properly bandaged. The nurse put a little saline on it, but didn’t really clean it well. Then she wrapped it with a bandage and I was told it would be good to leave on for at least 24 hours, the blood was soaking through the wrap within an hour. The nurses and doctors are very competent, educated and good at their job, I just think this facility doesn’t have all the resources it needs to truly treat all ailments.
