After years of painful periods, PMS symptoms, frequent headaches & heartburn, I turned to acupuncture because I did not want to constantly take medication. Last winter, I came to Alyssa to be treated for anxiety and really awful panic attacks that weren't improving or being managed by medications. After just a few sessions, my panic attacks were gone & I haven't experienced one since seeing Alyssa on a weekly basis. Dr. Alyssa Barba was waiting for us when we arrived. Her bedside manner was gentle, kind and empathetic. She took her time asking questions to gain a better insight regarding son's health challenges. She took her time explaining how the procedure would work and recommended other things we needed to change with my son's diet in conjunction with his treatment. Best medical visit ever.
